My name is Sophia Grace Allen. I was born in Georgia and have lived in Georgia all of my life. My hobbies include many things like painting, video games, billiards, and cooking. I also enjoy fencing as well as participated in the fencing club at Peachtree Ridge High School. I did well and enjoyed subjects like math, chemistry, and art. Another thing I enjoy is Dungeon and Dragons as well as other table top games, both of which I play with my friend group. At Agnes Scott College, I want to get a degree in chemistry and become a food scientist. Also, if possible, I want to get a minor in art, since design has a lot to do with the way food is advertised and perceived. The way I see it, design and art has everything to do with how we perceive the world around us. Another thing that has impacted my values is my volunteer work at the refugee center, which has led me to believe in the phrase, “an eye for an eye,” both good and bad. In other words, treat others the same way you would want them to treat you in the future.
